Hummingbird Nests

So starting last Thursday I noticed a hummingbird perched under our back awning, and it has been so interesting to watch it build nests with spider webs and little tiny leaves and little needles from our cedar trees.
There are four little nests now and it is so strange, because it comes and sits on one and flys away and then comes and sits on the next one and flys away and so on.  There are no eggs yet so I don't know if it will put one egg in each nest or if it's just testing each nest out. ?????????????

Willard Peak

We went up to Willard Peak Saturday afternoon, Tony and Quincy rode the 4 wheeler and then Halia and I were in a side by side. There were quite a few people on the trail, and it was such a nice day!!!
Poor Halia had quite a rough go.  She slept for the first little while and then woke up and cried the rest of the time. She would not wear her little goggles or glasses and was way mad I put a hat on her, so she was getting dust her eyes like crazy, poor babe!!! The razr was really nice though to have her buckled in her carseat and not to have to hold on to her, thanks so much to Brett, it was super nice of him to let us use it!
Quincy was in heaven the entire time! She was a little disappointed when we got home.
Poor Halia was soooo sad until she got in the tub and then she was her happy self the rest of the night!

Happy Father's Day!

I hope Tony had a great Father's day, we didn't get to really spoil him like he deserves, because he had to get up and go straight to the orchard early to finish the water.  The girls made a sign for him and we hung it on the door, then they gave him a book that tells him how much they love him, with pictures of them in it, also you could record them saying something.  It took me 25 minutes to get a good recording, it was so cute, I am so glad he got to hear it before Quincy accidentally recorded over it!  Quincy sang to him with the primary in sacrament, so cute!!  We love him so much and he makes such an amazing Daddy to my girls, we are so lucky!

 This is a WONDERFUL Father!!
I will be ever grateful for this Father that was an AMAZING example and raised an INCREDIBLE Daddy for my two little sweetie's!!

Halia Rose

Saturday Quincy went to the orchard to help dad water the trees, so I had Halia all to myself, I loved it!! She looked really cute in what she had on and our roses are in full bloom right now, so I grabbed my camera!  She loves to have her picture taken, already at 10 months! She is so funny!

Quincy likes to do whatever daddy does, so when he wears his glasses on his hat, she does too!
She looked so funny when they got home waaaay past bedtime, I could not stop laughing this picture doesn't even capture it all.  She had dirt all over, blue teeth from an icee, and then as you can see her bangs from her hat!  She just walked in, took off her boots and come and laid on the couch and put her feet on my lap, just like dad, it was hilarious!!

First Swim Lesson of the Summer

Quincy did so good at her first swim lesson, this is the first year I am not in the pool with her and she did so good!  She is definitely our little fish, she swims for an hour and a half in the tub every night!

Halia loved watching and was acting like she wanted to get in too, she also loves water!

LAGOON!

We took a day off from thinning peaches Friday to take Quincy to Lagoon for the first time, saying she loved it, is an understatement!  We thought that she would be ready to go home after a few hours, but we stayed way longer than expected and she still wanted to stay!  She wanted to ride everything, I felt bad when she was too little to go on the ones she was really interested in.  She wanted to do the catapult!  It was so funny!!! Puff the dragon was by far her favorite, that is all she has talked about since we left!!
All the pictures are from Tony's phone, I kept forgetting to get it from him when he went on rides with Quincy, but she had a lot of fun riding the flying aces with dad, he said she just giggled the whole time!
She really liked the swings too, I think she was really happy with every ride, she kept saying she had bellyflies!
Halia stayed with my neice for the day, she just gets too hot and we just didn't want to deal with the stroller and diapers and stuff, but she was pretty happy to have a day without her big sister in her face all day!!

Thinning Peaches

We have started thinning peaches, there are a lot of peaches this year.  Last year we thinned 9 acres in 4 days, this year we are only half way done and going on 2 weeks.  Quincy LOVES being in the orchard with dad.  She started picking up the dropped peaches and throwing them at dad and uncle Justin, she thinks she is pretty funny!
Halia gets hot so easy and is not a big fan of the orchard yet, but hopefully as soon as she can run around the orchard she will like it as much as Quincy, cause I don't think her dad is going to give her much choice!
This is what pretty much every tree looks like, full like grapes!
