~JR PEACH QUEEN PAGEANT~

Quincy participated in the Jr. Peach Queen Pageant this year.  It is only for 5 year olds. She had so much fun, they walk on stage while a short bio is being read about them, and curtsy. Then they all sang Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, it was so adorable! Then last years royalty, drew the names for this years royalty.  Quincy was the first name out of the bowl!! She was crowned the 4th attendant!
She was excited to meet the 2012 Peach Queen, I think she still thinks this girl is a REAL Queen. For about a week after this every time she was naughty she would say, "please, don't tell the queen."
She got to be in the Jr. Peach Parade. All the other contestants rode on a train, she wanted to ride on it too, so we got a picture. Then she got to ride in this pretty red car!

Poor Halia had to tag along for all of these things. She was a little more excited to see her go by!
Then it was the main Peach Parade. She was bummed she didn't get to be in the red car again, but she still had so much fun with this whole experience!!
Halia loves her sister, and had fun waving to her!!

KiNdErGaRtEn

Quincy is in Kindergarten! She really loves it so far, she loves the independence of it. She sits on this rock to wait for the bus, it is so cute, but it makes me a little sad that she doesn't need me quite as much as she used to. She loves the bus! I really did not think I was going to cry, but when she got on the bus and then smiled and waved as it drove away on the first day....I lost it!! Then the next day she told me, "DO NOT wave at me because I am NOT waving back. Also, DO NOT come get me off the bus after school...I can see you on the porch and I will walk home BY MYSELF!!" She did that for a few days and now she waves goodbye and blows me a kiss every morning! I am still not allowed to go to the little store one house away, where the bus drops her off, though. She sees me and waves and walks home all by herself. She is getting so big, it is so fun, exciting, scary, and a little sad all at the same time!!

--Box Elder County Fair--

Quincy did the Pee Wee Lead Class again this year. She had a lot of fun! If you can't tell, she was Mary Poppins and Burt with his One Man Band. We spent a few months gathering things for the costume and were really happy with how it turned out. The drum played when the lamb walked, at first, but by the time it was her turn the cords we used had stretched and it no longer played.:{
She also gave the announcer a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down, she forgot to give it to him when it was her turn, so she ran up to him later and gave it to him, and it was really cute. She didn't win anything this year, but she didn't care, she had fun! It was her mom and dad that were disappointed. ;)
Quincy and her little friend, Willy Wonka and an Oompa Loompa, they got jipped too.  All the kids get a Blue Ribbon and some money, so that makes them happy!!
Then we went to the Rodeo and then the next day, it was back to the fair for some rides!!! We all got to ride this year, so FUN!!
The world better watch out for these 3 lovely ladies!!!
Quincy is a bit of a dare devil, she wanted to go on this crazy ride on the left, the arrows show where her and Tony are. Halia had a lot of fun and was so jealous that she was too small for the bigger rides.  She did get to go on the dragon ride with us, she was a tad too small, but they didn't say anything and she had a blast!!
Then back for another night of Rodeo FUN!!

*BIRTHDAYS*

Halia's birthday started off with balloons all over the kitchen floor!  It made her really excited, and helped her realize it was a special day!!
Then she opened a present from Quincy, a new dress-up dress!

We spent the rest of the day at the Hogle Zoo! It was a lot of fun, it started out only us and then slowly turned out that my whole family (minus my brother and my 15yr old nephew) decided to go! The kids all had a lot of fun!

Halia loves rides, but for whatever reason she was not thrilled for this one, I think she was tired, she made this same face for the whole ride!

There's that face again!
Quincy woke up to donuts and chocolate milk on her birthday! Her favorite!
She opened her present from Halia, which was also a dress-up dress. They have hammered the ones they already had!

Then we worked out a bounce house for their family birthday party! We decided since they were sharing their party to go big this year and did a BBQ and the whole shabang! It was a lot of fun, I didn't get any pics of all the kids on the bounce house though cause I was too busy, but we took these the day before. We had the bouncy house the whole weekend which they loved, but I think they thought it was theirs and were really sad when we took it down.:/

Two really loved and spoiled little girls! Thanks to everyone!
This little 2 year old acts too big! I keep thinking she is 3! She is so fun at this age though, whenever you ask her where something is she says, "I don't know, I wost it!" Everytime I hang up the phone she asks, "Who's that?" When she wants to get Quincy in trouble she says, "Mooom...sissy mit me." We love her so much!
This cake was fun and time consuming to do the inside, but I loved how it turned out!
This 5 year old is a really stubborn, special little lady! She wants to question and argue EVERYTHING!! It can be frustrating, but I just think I have to be grateful, because hopefully her stubbornness will be a good thing when it comes to choosing what's right and sticking with it! She loves anything girly, but also loves being outside and getting dirty. She is obsessed with hunting. For two weeks now she has been begging her dad to go look for deer. She will get her wish in about a week or so! She is very sweet, but when that sass comes out, it's a lot! Whenever she gets in trouble she instantly needs a hug to know she is still very loved. We could not survive without her! This cake was supposed to be polka dot inside, it took forever to do and then the polka dots got lost!:(
We love our girls! Their birthdays came and went too quick!! Quincy says she's going to be 6 already, instead of just saying she's 5. Halia is just happy to be 2!!
