Peaches...Peaches...Peaches

Even though it's not my favorite time of year, these girls LOVE it, at least till about the last week and half, then they are ready to be done. That tree Halia is in is right by the stand and provided hours upon hours of entertainment for both! Halia ate about 5 peaches a day, Quincy just took 3 bites and drank the juice out of about 4 peaches a day. Quincy enjoyed helping to pick a little this year, crazy girl. Picking is the worst!
After school started Halia had the orchard all to herself, with Daddy and her two uncles! Irrigation water can be very interesting to a little girl!
 Cousins enjoying the orchard together!
Despite what Tony may say, I DO help pick at times, he had to get PROOF!!
 My peach BOSS!!

::Box Elder County Fair '14::

These girls are pretty lucky, our friends have sheep, and let them come pick a couple out to use for the fair. Quincy's lamb was named Brett, for her uncle she has a crush on. ;)
Halia's lamb was named Coco Puff for her favorite breakfast cereal. :)
Halia and Coco Puff went to the Peewee Lead show as "Dancing with the Stars". Halia did really well, I was worried about her crying, but we didn't even have a meltdown!! Yay!
Quincy and Brett went as "Ms. Frizzle and The Magic School Bus". She did great and took 2nd place in Most Original. Thanks to my niece Gabriel for the awesome idea! All the kids get Blue Ribbons with $3, and then Quincy got a nice lead halter, she'll get a chance to use that a lot in the future!
Enjoying the fair, even though it was rainy, muddy, and freezing, we still had a blast as usual!
Best friends showing off their face paintings. Halia kept calling her Unicorn, Popcorn. :)

August 2014

August was pretty eventful, usually is our busiest summer month, but it was fun! We started it off by touring the remodeled Ogden Temple. Gorgeous! Quincy has been talking about getting married in the Brigham City Temple since it was built, now she has switched to the Ogden, for now anyway, I'm sure it will change many more times! She has PLENTY of time to decide, silly goose!

Checked on the girls one night to find them like this. I love it, they sleep in each others beds quite often, but I have never actually seen it, they just tell me. I love that they are so close!
Quincy had her first friend party, she was pretty spoiled by this adorable little group of 1st graders!

 Relaxing!
We went to the Dinosaur park on Halia's birthday with my mom and my sister and her kids, Tony even had the day off and joined us! It was quite a blast!!

 Family Party Day....
 Birthdays.......or Christmas?!?!

For Quincy's birthday outing she wanted to go for a ride in the mountains. We hadn't been up to Willard Peak yet this year, so that's where we headed. Perfect weather and a beautiful evening!

Went to the Ogden Temple again with some friends, and Halia had her first dance class!
 First day of First grade!!
At my parents one night we decided to do the ALS ice bucket challenge for my mom. My sisters, my niece and I did it all at the same time then all the little kids did it together, it was really sweet and cute, but I only got a picture of soaking Quincy!

Bear Lake....

It just would not be summer without a trip to Bear Lake. We went with both my sisters and their families. These two little girls really love playing together!

We wanted my parents to come and knew my mom wanted to badly. I knew if I sent this picture of the newest grand baby that my dad would give in. Of course, ten minutes after I sent the picture, they were on their way. All the kids were so excited to have them show up!
 Lots of relaxing and napping....

Bear Lake never disappoints!

**JULY**

July was pretty relaxing. It involved lots of swimming and playing...

... and also some work in the peach orchard. Halia is always dirty the instant she steps out of the car at that place!
My sister, Amy, and I ran the Mantua Dam Run. It is a 5 mile run. It was such a fun run! Beautiful morning and perfect weather!
Quincy was in the Mantua parade for Cheer, she did so good, cheering the whole time. It was really cute! Then we went back up that evening for the fireworks.
So, our kids never have handled staying up late very well, this was their first time seeing BIG fireworks. Quincy LOVED them, Halia watched them through her fingers, since she had her hands over her eyes, but after said she wanted to go again.
 Ummm, Cinderella? Is that you???
Hahahaha! She walked around all evening with only one glass slipper. I guess she takes pretending to be Cinderella very seriously. :)
