Fall Leaves!

We went for a drive up Logan Canyon and back down through Ogden Canyon to see the fall leaves we stopped to take a couple of pictures. This is our favorite thing to do this time of year.

26!!!

We celebrated Tony's 26th birthday on Sunday with my family, I can't believe he is 26! Not that 26 is extremely old or anything it is just weird that we are growing up!

Grandpa Pete

We really miss Grandpa Pete. I have been looking for my pictures of him to put on here and I finally found some. Tony and I loved going Rabbit hunting with him. He was so funny when we went, if he missed a rabbit he would so "oh my gun just has a bend in the barrell." Grandpa always killed me with the things he would say like mine and Tony's first Christmas married he asked me" So have you laid Tony under the Christmas tree yet?" I was totally embarrassed but that is Grandpa for you. He was always joking around. The thing I miss most is his huge warm tight hugs. There is NOTHING like a Grandpa Pete hug. I miss him and Grandma like crazy! As we all do.

Little Dixie

Sunday Morning we got a phone call from one of our neighbors and they had Dixie. That smart little bugger has figured out how to undo her cable. She has done it before but we have always seen her before she got very far. Well we were not home Saturday night and so we didn't know she was gone. Apparently she tried to go after a cat and drug the cable with her and got stuck in a fence. I am just really glad the neighbor knew she was ours, because we don't have her tags on her, she loses them. What a Smart dog!!

Quincy's Blessing!

We blessed Quincy last Sunday. Tony did such a good job, I am so proud of him! She looked so cute in her pretty dress. She is growing so fast I can't believe she is almost 4 weeks old! We put her in her crib for the first time on Thursday, she is not a big fan yet, but hopefully she will get used to it soon.

Fun Friday!!

We had a really busy Friday last week. Tony's good friend Rusty got married. We went to the sealing at the Logan temple, it was really nice. His sisters watched Quincy for us, it was really weird being without her. Then after the luncheon we went for a drive up through Logan canyon and back down through Ogden. Our family had the annual Grandpa Pete Grandma Norma campout. We stopped there for a while, it would have been fun to stay the night, but Quincy is just too little. Next year will be FUN! It was nice to visit with family. Silly Hadlie got a little carried away with her smore! Then Saturday was Rusty's reception so Tony had to get all dressed up for that, and he did look very HANDSOME!! The reception was out in Marriott - Slaterville and I parked my car on the side of the road. When we left I was not aware that there to big huge rocks in front of my car and I just drove right over them! It did a little damage, I swear this car is turning out to be bad luck things are always just jumping right out in front of it!! O well it didn't do much just broke out the cover in front of the front tire. I guess that car will have to start paying closer attention to whats around it and where it is going! :)

It's fun being a mom!

It is so much fun being a mom! I love just sitting and watching the funny faces that she makes!! Today we had an incident though. Mom and I went to Quilted Bear and I was pushing mom in her wheelchair and then had Quincy in a carrier, one that you wear, and all of the sudden we heard a really loud noise. GUESS WHAT!!! She had an explosion and that carrier just pushed out everywhere. We had just barely walked into the store too! It was a mess, it was running down her legs and everything!! So I had to leave mom and go out to the van and clean up the poor thing. I felt so bad for her. Luckily I did have an extra outfit. She is just so cute some of the noises she makes are so funny she sounds like a kitten a lot of the time. OH I just love her so much. I love being a mom and Tony Loves being a dad! It's a BLAST!!!
