-Honeyville Rodeo-

We went to the Honeyville rodeo...Quincy wanted to participate. She rode a lamb for 2.1 seconds, stick horse barrel raced, and pulled the ribbon off the goat's tail. Here she is all ready and waiting for the muttin' bustin'. After she fell off and I got her to walk out of the arena, crying-she said, "This is not my favorite!". Later though she kept talking about a "next time".

 The stick horse race she loved! She was sad she didn't get a trophy though, but she didn't get a time because she went the wrong direction around some of the barrels. Next time she said she will be way faster, we'll see. :)  I missed the goat tail ribbon pull, she was first and I was occupied with Halia so I just saw her running back with the ribbon. She had lots of fun!

 Halia is pretty bummed she is too little to do all the things big sister does, but she did have fun running around and watching!



Pony ride.

Our primary president planned a really awesome summer activity. It was a carnival and there was pony rides, a huge slide, fishing, duck pond, dart balloon pop, ping pong ball toss, knock over the milk cans, face painting, and cotton candy! Quincy was so excited for the pony ride, she talked about it for days before.

 Halia got to join in since I am in the presidency and had to help out, thanks to this wonderful young woman for chasing her for me till Tony came and got her!! I only got pictures of this, thanks to my great friend for being on the ball and knowing I would want a picture of them!!

Halia...

This girl is so hilarious right now, I love it!! She loves playing in the sand box, but I don't like it, she puts buckets of sand in her hair a lot of the time and it is so hard to get it out!!!:{  She also loves to swim, she is in swim lessons with me in a parent and tot class, she is always so bummed when it is time to get out of the pool!

 Loves popsicles! This day was so funny she was taking forever to eat it, cause she was goofing around and it was dripping everywhere!!! she kept saying, "CHEESE" and wanting me to take her picture and doing the biggest grins!!

 She is so happy and easy going....at least half the time.  :)

Quincy...

She let me braid her hair in tiny braids! It was so fun and she was so good it only took as long as it took us to watch "Enchanted"!

 Her hair was pretty crazy when we took them out after 4 days! She loves swimming, but was a bit weary in my sister's bigger pool and wouldn't let go of the edge, even with a life jacket!! Silly goose!!

 She had a great season of T-ball! She really loved it and can't wait for next year, she loves trophies, so that's probably the real reason:)  Tony was able to make it to one game and she really got involved in outfield for him, just for that one game, she also hit and ran the best she did all season for him!

 Hanging at the orchard with dad while thinning peaches! She loves the orchard because he does and she LOVES being with her DADDY!! Apparently she was just relaxing and singing, and enjoying this nice peach tree!

~C&M Circus~

We went to the circus in Plain City, it was in a Hi-top tent and was RIDICULOUSLY HOT!! Holy cow, it was hard to breath! We had a ton of fun though! Quincy thought these clowns were so funny, Halia on the other hand.....

 ...did not like them.  She is not afraid of much yet, but apparently clowns are scary!:}

**Independance Day**

We had a really fun July 4th!!! The girl's loved the parade, Halia was REALLY into running after the candy and putting in her bag! She kept saying, "YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!". Quincy is a little more timid when it comes to a lot of people around, so she ended up with a lot less candy than Halia.

 Cooling down in the trout pond, before they put the fish in, we were too hot and didn't wait around for that.:(

 Quincy wanted to do the pie eating contest, but then when she saw what it really was she changed her mind, so Halia went in her place and wanted to get into that pie but couldn't take big enough bites without holding it, after the contest was over she just carried it around and nibbled on it....till she dropped it.

 We went to my parent's house for the afternoon. The kids had lots of fun with cousins!

::Aerospace Museum::

Quincy is constantly asking, "What planes does dad work on?"

So one day before work we went to the Aerospace Museum.  They loved it!! Quincy is filled with a Billion questions so we had to stop and explain each and every plane and mannequin in detail.  Tony's favorite to work on is the C-130's, so here they are next to the tail end of a C-130.

 Quincy absolutely LOVES penny smashing machines...she gets so excited to put them in her Penny Passport.  She was showing me the wrong side though.:)

 Went to lunch with daddy before work, they love being with him when he has time, and they were being so hilarious.  Halia won't eat any food that she thinks is hers, we have to put her food in front of someone else, and then she will eat it (she does this only when we eat out), apparently it tastes better if you're taking it from someone! She is getting to be such a funny character!! 

40 Years...

My parents had their 40th wedding anniversary towards the end of June! I am so grateful for them and all they do for us and have given us! They are amazing, so glad they made it all these years!!!

 We all went to dinner at the Maddox Lodge to celebrate...

 ...lots of fun!!

Antelope Island...

On day my mom and I took the girls out to Antelope Island. We hadn't been out there in a long time. It was so fun! They loved seeing the water, bison, a billion birds, the visitor center, ranch house, and one antelope.

 While we were there we saw the photographer that took our wedding pictures. He volunteers out there. He takes pictures and then lets the little kids pick one, Quincy is holding the one she chose!

These to crazy girls LOVE being outside and playing. Lately they love the tramp because now Halia is big enough to jump along with Quincy.

 They get along pretty well for the most part except when Quincy thinks she needs to try and smash Halia. Silly ladies.
